The Theater Note
After surviving a near fatal chinchilla attack, this retired taekwondo master took up a new hobby, singing. Destined to find a new zest for life, Spencer has battled lemon wedges, a stamp collector, and the DMV, as he journeyed across the Pacific Northwest in search of family, friendship, and flavor. Throughout his journey Spencer was taught the art of the voice by 7 Mongolian monks in the backwoods of Scottsdale, Arizona. As a child, Spencer’s parents called him Sally. He has been in 36 productions of Cats, playing the role of Macavity every time. Speaking of cavities, Spencer hasn’t had any. Now residing in Washington, D.C., Spencer spends his time being cold and telling his friends about the weather in Arizona.
